The programs are tuition-free and will last two years. Applications open on June 20, 2026,\u201d the press service said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The master\u2019s programs were presented at the Sirius.Biotech drug development summit. The new tracks are Immunobiotechnology and Advanced Materials and Chemical Technologies in Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Immunobiotechnology master\u2019s program is aimed at training specialists capable of participating in all stages of modern biotechnological drug development\u2014from designing biotechnological processes to scaling them up, transferring technologies, and implementing quality control methods at industrial production sites. Students will study producer cultivation technologies, isolation and purification of biopharmaceutical products, and the production of vaccines and gene therapy drugs in line with current regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second new program, Advanced Materials and Chemical Technologies in Medicine, combines medicinal chemistry, materials science, and biomedicine. It is designed to train specialists who will develop innovative small molecules, targeted drug delivery systems, biomaterials for tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and diagnostics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe main barrier to the development of advanced pharmaceutical and medical technologies in our country is the shortage of highly skilled personnel. Our task is to fill this gap with talented researchers. The master\u2019s programs have been developed in close cooperation with leading domestic industry partners, research centers, and biopharmaceutical companies such as R-Pharm, AstraZeneca, and others. This brings the educational process as close as possible to the real challenges of modern drug development. As a result, we can train young specialists who will be ready for the most serious challenges from the very start,\u201d said Roman Ivanov, Director of the Research Center for Translational Medicine and Chairman of the Academic Council of Sirius University of Science and Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Summit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sirius.Biotech 2026 drug development summit is taking place at Sirius University of Science and Technology on May 20\u201322.
