Online retailer Wildberries will allow the sale of over-the-counter drugs on the platform throughout the country. Previously, this opportunity was only available to residents of Moscow and the Moscow region – these regions were pilot and tested the initiative since 2021.

This only applies to those medications that can be purchased without a doctor’s prescription. Such products can only be sold if you have a license for the retail sale of drugs, as well as after the platform has verified such documents.

The storage, assembly and delivery of goods in this category will be carried out by the sellers themselves. “In this case, the platform directly connects the seller with the buyer,” the company explained. Earlier, at the beginning of 2023, Wildberries banned the sale of dietary supplements without confirmation of the authenticity of the state registration certificate.
