The ratio of Russian to foreign medicines in the pharmaceutical market by the number of packages is 70 to 30, said Health Minister Mikhail Murashko while addressing the State Duma.
“Today, the ratio of domestic to foreign pharmaceutical products in the market stands at 70 to 30 by number of packages. In monetary terms, the ratio is 40 to 60,” the minister noted.
According to him, “the dynamics in the volume of costly, high-expense drugs produced in Russia are showing an upward trend.”
“The indicators for the production of more complex pharmaceuticals are also moving in a positive direction,” Murashko added.
