The Russian government will consider a draft federal law “On Amending Article 47 of the Federal Law ‘On the Circulation of Medicines’” at a meeting on Thursday, according to the government press service.
“The bill is aimed at improving the legal regulation of relations concerning the import of medicinal products for medical use into the Russian Federation under the conditions of restrictive economic measures imposed on Russia,” the press service noted.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers will discuss amendments to legislation intended to reduce the administrative and financial burden on business entities engaged in activities requiring permits amid ongoing external sanctions.
The agenda also includes amendments to the Federal Law “On Investment Activity in the Russian Federation Conducted in the Form of Capital Investments”. “The draft law aims to ensure a unified approach across regions and municipalities in developing investment activity in the form of capital investments,” the press service said.
Moreover, the government plans to review draft amendments to certain legal acts designed to eliminate excessive administrative procedures, financial and time costs associated with adjusting land categories within specially protected natural areas to comply with legal regimes, as well as to clarify the legal status of agricultural lands located within national parks.
The meeting agenda also features a draft federal law “On Amendments to the Law of the Russian Federation ‘On Pension Provision for Persons Who Served in the Military, Internal Affairs Bodies, the State Fire Service, Drug Control Agencies, Penal Institutions and Agencies, National Guard Troops, the Federal Bailiff Service, and Their Families’”. According to the press service, the bill provides a mechanism for pension assignment under this law to citizens who have served in volunteer formations.
